Stelios Kentritas
Stelios, together with Tatweer Management Systems, is the founder of ziconNET.
He is a graduate of City College of New York and Rutgers University in the United States and holds BSc and MSc degrees in Chemical Engineering.
He has more than 30 years international experience in the Process and IT industries and held numerous executive and senior management posts with leading organizations, including ABB, Intergraph, SAS, Yokogawa, Hyperion and Autodynamics.
Dr. Katerina Yamalidou
Katerina is a chemical engineer, educated to Ph.D. level with more than 12 years experience in supply chain management for the process industries and more than 10 years experience as project and program manager and technical leader in large, multidisciplinary projects for major international clients in Europe, USA, Russia and the Middle East.
She has extensive experience in working in a multi cultural, multi lingual project environment, managing diverse group of stakeholders, including customer teams, partners and subcontractors, combined with many years of experience in services business management, as well as strong leadership, organizational and analytical skills.
Paul J. Ashkar
Paul is a seasoned business management consultant with over twelve years of project management experience and over seven years in leading roles.
His subject matter expertise areas include designing, organising, implementing and managing large programme management operations, using state of the art methods & processes, tools & techniques.
His sound methodical and rigorous approach, combined with his ability to work under pressure and competently manage teams have contributed to a track record of proficiency in delivering programmes that meet business objectives on time, on budget and with quality.He is a highly motivated individual, an outstanding innovator, communicator and visionary with excellent business and technology understanding.
Throughout his career he has acquired cross-industry experience ranging from manufacturing, financial services and telecoms.
Hossam Attia
Hossam is a chemical engineering graduate of Cairo University (1979). He is the founder of Precision Consult and Process Village both firms based in Cairo, Egypt.
Process Village provides service, technical support and sales for VMG's Suite of Engineering Software throughout the Middle East. Hossam has 25 years of experience in process engineering and in modeling software business, having spent 14 years in senior business development and sales positions with Hyprotech. Virtual Materials and Process Village share a commitment to extraordinary customer support and relentless desire to help our customers succeed.
Prior to starting the Virtual Materials Group operation Hossam spent over 15 years managing and directing
Hyprotech's Middle East operation and Aspen Technology following the merger of Aspen Tech and Hyprotech. He has also served in senior process engineering posts with Enppi in Egypt.
Hossam, as a ziconNET executive consultant and associate, together with the Precision Consult and the VMG teams in Egypt, he brings a wealth of experience in process engineering and simulation in gas processing, oil production and refining. He is respected for his expertise in process simulation, oil refining and process automation.
Dr. Chorng-hour Yang
Dr. Chorng-hour Yang is president of TECHESP Corporation based in the United States and an executive consultant associate with ziconNET. Dr. Yang has held senior management and executive posts with ABB, Combustion Engineering, Compressor Control Corporation, Envera (currently part of ChemConnect).
During his early chemical engineering career in process control he pioneered the development and implementation of ethylene plant real time optimization with early adopters in Europe. Later, as Vice President, he led the 100 people division of Combustion Engineering Simcon focused in advanced control applications, plant optimization and simulation, followed by extensive tenures in Asia to successfully grow the business of the companies he worked with.
Dr. Yang has published numerous papers in the domain of Advanced Process Control, and rightly so, he is considered one of the most knowledgeable subject matter experts in the industry in this domain.
Ben Louw
Ben Louw has a proven track record with a long term career as operations manager, project director, department and project manager with various multi-nationals including Yokogawa, Alstom and AEG.
He has directly led successfully more than 25 automation projects for various manufacturing sectors and customers in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and North America.
As a department manager, he has led a team of as many as 15 project managers for Yokogawa's System Integration Center in Singapore, where each of the project managers was leading a single or multiple automation projects.
Known for his ability to deal with complex and large scale automation projects, Ben brings a wealth of project leadership and experience combined with in-depth knowledge in various domains of industrial automation and process solutions, as well as knowledge of various types of plants and manufacturing processes.
Ben's recent experience covers engagement as a MAC project director with some of Saudi Aramco's mega projects, as well as with projects delivered to GASCO and BAPCO. As part of the ziconNET team, Ben can provide overall leadership and project management for the level of complexity involved in large scale MES and DSS integration projects.
Ben holds and Electrical Engineering Diploma from Witwatersrand Technical College in South Africa.
Dr. Frantisek Madron
Dr. Frantisek (Frank) Madron is the President of ChemPlant Technology, s.r.o. (Czech Republic), a company he founded in 1991 to provide optimization, advanced data processing software and plant information systems for Chemical, Oil and Power Industries.
A graduate of the Technical University Pardubice (M.S. degree in chemical engineering) has also PhD degree from the Czech Academy of Sciences in chemical engineering. After that he has been involved for 15 years in process plant improvement at CHEMOPETROL – RIIC.
His main interests are the advanced data processing methods, especially data validation with data reconciliation based on chemical engineering models (mass and energy balancing, thermodynamic analysis, etc.).
Frank Madron is author or co-author of more than 50 technical articles and two books: Process Plant Performance: Measurement and Data Processing for Optimization and Retrofits. (E. Horwood, NY 1992) and Material and Energy Balancing in the Process Industries. From Microscopic Balances to Large Plants (Elsevier, Amsterdam 1997). Frank has also lectured 20+ Data Reconciliation Courses in Europe, USA and Latin America.
Dimitris Vintzilaios
Dimitris, in addition to his association with ziconNET, he is General Manager of PPP, a company that specializes in the provision of human capital development and professional training services.Dimitri holds a Degree from the University of Athens (1980) and two Masters Degrees, in Chemical Instrumentation and Computer, Information & Control Engineering from the University of Michigan (1984). Today, is Doctorate candidate at Middlesex University in the field of Organizational Psychology.
His subject matter expertise areas include change management, team performance issues, multiculture negotiation and conflict management. He has more than 20 years' experience in helping organisations to achieve and sustain beneficial change. His work is built around proven techniques, organised and planned to deliver measurable improvements in organisation and team performance. His consulting and development services helped to develop the vision, creativity, commitment and skills that brought about clearly defined results in large, multidisciplinary projects for major international clients in Europe, Balkans and the Middle East
Dimitris is author of numerous training e-books, white papers, articles and producer of training e-learning content on internet or DVD’s. He has also been invited in various forums and events to facilitate or speak about leadership & change.
Aris Televantos
Aris has a fourteen year international career in supply chain management and business information systems best practices consulting and software technology implementation.
Aris holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from University of California at San Diego specifically focused in Communication Network Optimization and Queuing Theory, and an MSc from Stanford University in Operations Research focused on Simulation, Linear and Non-Linear Optimization and Local Search Algorithm Meta-Heuristics. In the last 15 years he has been involved in cross-industry projects implementing solutions for Sales Forecasting, Production, Logistics, Inventory and Distribution Planning and Plant Scheduling processes. He also has a wide experience in systems integration, business intelligence and supply chain planning best practices consulting. His industry experience is very strong on Process, Pharmaceutical, High Tech and Retail/Wholesale sectors.
Carl MacKinder
Carl is a ziconNET associate and also the founder and managing director of locii Solutions.
Prior to locii Solutions, and while at Unilever, he was responsible for the company's annual planning and strategy, design and implementation of profit forecasting systems, evaluation and authorisation of all major marketing activities, recruitment, training and development of local management.
Carl was also leader of the Africa and Middle East sourcing strategies for certain Unilever categories.
Ormin Soediono
Ormin is a PMI certified project manager with 15 years experience in the implementation and execution of IT projects for clients ranging from Universities and Banks to Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Plants. He started his career as a programmer specialising in the integration of ERP systems to Customer Relations, Manufacturing Execution, Plant Scheduling and Business Intelligence systems and has progressed from there to providing services as a solution architect and project management consultant. Most recently he has participated in one of the largest Oil Refining supply chain optimization projects ever undertaken.
Yani Rovis
Yani Rovis is an electrical engineer from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology – ETHZ and an MBA from IMD Lausanne.
Mr. Rovis has experience as CEO in fast moving consumer goods companies – FMCG and has spent most of his career as a business consultant, initially with Andersen Consulting and later as founder and shareholder of Vellum, a ziconNET associate.
Mr. Rovis has participated in a large number and various sizes of Information System & Technology projects, including design and implementation for industrial and commercial enterprises.
Anastasios (Tasos) Angeloglou
Tasos has held various senior management and executive posts in the IT & T sectors for companies in Europe and the Middle East. By having worked with such reputable companies as France telecom, Philips, Exxon Chemical and OTE, he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in the development of best practices, latest technologies and lifecycle management of IT & T.
Tasos' academic career spans from K.U. Leuven in Belgium and U.W.I.S.T, Cardiff, Wales covering postgraduate studies in Telecommunications and Network Systems Engineering, as well as London University and Kings College where he received with his B.Sc. Honors in Computer Science & Mathematics.
Anurag Sharma
Amurag Sharma is a Chemical Engineer with subject matter expertise in Process Engineering, Process Simulation and Modeling. He has earned a Masters Of Technology in Chemical Engineering from I.I.T. Kharagpur in India.
He has in the past worked with Jacobs Engineering and Praxair Private Limited where he gained experience in use and application of Aspen Plus and Aspen Hysys, Aspen Flare System Analyzer, HTRI Exchanger Suite and Ms-Visio. He has proficiency in handling projects from design stage to implementation.
He is also the first member of the zicon team in India and responsible for extending the company’s network of associates and consultants in the country.
Meriem Kadia
Meriem Kadia is an IT business consultant with a Masters Degree in Information Systems from INSA of Lyon, France – and an MBA from Strathclyde Univdersity of UK.
Meriem brings more than 12 years experience in IT Management as she has spent most of her career as a business consultant and participated in a various projects for major international financial institutions in Europe, Bahamas and in the Middle East.
