Project Team Building

Project Team Building is a workshop that quickly creates a common sense of purpose and shared commitment to action. The Project Team Building workshop takes a pragmatic, hands-on approach to getting a new team to work effectively together much faster than standard approaches.
We utilize a specialised implementation strategy that takes team beyond simple definitions and toward practical ways to make the teamwork effectively together from day one.

A powerful process increases the effectiveness of the team regardless of its seniority or functionality.  Our six-step methodology focuses on the following:

  1. Individual preferences - We examine the ways, in which people interact, handle information, make decisions and organise themselves, in order to determine individual preferences for working together.
  2. Team map - Using the working preferences, we create a team map and examine the strengths/weaknesses of the team in performing the vital tasks needed for producing the team's 'product'.
  3. Team charter - This is a very practical exercise that establishes unity of vision and purpose, as well as strong alignment of working preferences and teamwork toward project goals.
  4. A systematic Approach – The systematic approach is an aid for seeing things in context. It serves as an aid for deciding on and evaluating which steps in a process serve the purpose best. It has been shown to be especially effective in supporting the effort of several people working together.
  5. Behavioural Adaptation - The team defines, articulates and agrees on new, common, non-negotiable behaviours for the team.
  6. New project anatomy - A map of a potential (or existing) project is created using an alignment of the previous steps with organisation strategy, creating a practical approach for getting the job done.

The benefits of this programme are for both individuals and teams, giving them knowledge and confidence to work easily within the environment of a new project by creating shared, actionable commitments.
